| LaVerne and Carol Ehlers are life-time
residence of Lyman County. They have been married for
over 35 years. They began Ehlers Hunts in 1990 to
provide pheasant hunters an inexpensive alternative to
larger pheasant hunting operations who charge a lot of
money for the same hunt.
LaVerne has been farming for over
40 years and owns all his own farming & hunting
land. He guides the groups that come to hunt. When he
is not planting, harrowing, or harvesting his land,
you can find him taking care of his birds. He has set
up food plots and puts out food to make sure the wild
birds are surviving the weather.
Carol was a school teacher before
she decided to stay at home with her children. She is
in charge of the finance part of the business. She
will make sure that your stay is pleasant.
